A Splitting Machine Cooperated With Mercier

Mercier, well-known worldwide as specialist in manufacturing splitting machines, taking advantage from the experience gained with making more than 1000 machines, now develop an update version of SCIMATIC, suitable for splitting hides in Lime, Wet blue and Dry.

1. SCIMATIC splitting machine is made up of two “parts”, fixed part and mobile part. It’s the special technology of Mercier.

2. Fixed part : shoulders, connection beams, upper bridge with conveyor roller, lower bridge with table and ring roller.

3. Mobile part: can move completely to control the distance between the cutting edge of band knife and the feeding plane more precisely .Band knife driving system, band knife positioning system and grinding system are installed on one strong main girder, made of high-precision ball screw.

4. Strong structure: SHOULDERS, BED, UPPER BRIDGE, LOWER BRIDGE, TABLE and its SUPPORT, FLY WHEEL SUPPORT, GRINDING DEVICE are all made of high quality cast iron.

5. Two electro-magnetic sensors and two touch screens make operation convenient.

6. Controlled by PLC to obtain better splitting result.

7. If band knife stops or unexpected power off, Grinding stones will be separated from band knife automatically to protect band knife.

8. Wet blue and dry leather splitting machines both provide dust collector during sharpening.

9. SCIMATIC5-3000(LIME) is equipped with Extractor GLP-300 which is initiative in China. Feeding speed is 0-30M adjustable, splitting precision is ±0.16mm.
